Instead
of the park, our group cavorted at the beach. It's a small beach with
one lifeguard, small waves, large parking, and separate swimmer and
surfer sections for safety. One family from our group was moving to
Arkansas so we did the local farewell with a potluck. We saw friends we
had not seen in months. Kids are getting taller and more mature. Some
moms' lives change, some continue to mainly revolve around kids'
activities. We are thankful for a beautiful day, friends, and the
opportunity to have adult conversations without constant interruptions.
